Pick 6 carryover of $19K on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack

Robert Hines Mar 28 2025

Saturday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $19,185 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s eight-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $3,197.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Friday’s Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 3 with Goldcrest [No. 5, $3.40*] taking a 6 1/2-furlong claiming race with Jose Lezcano aboard for winter meet leading trainer Linda Rice.

Conditioner Michelle Giangiulio sent out the next winner with the Kendrick Carmouche-piloted Mursal [No. 1, $7.60], who captured a one-turn mile claimer, in Race 4. One race later, longshot Royal Event [No. 6, $49.20] upset a six-furlong starter optional claiming race with Katie Davis in the irons for trainer Carlos Martin, in Race 5.

In Race 6, a one-turn mile claimer, the Edward DeLauro-conditioned Troubled Luck [No. 3, $47.80] prevailed under Jose Gomez. In Race 7, a seven-furlong allowance optional claiming race, Delray [No. 6, $3.70*] drew off under Frankie Pennington for trainer Tyler Servis.

With only the favorite Runamor covered in the Race 8 finale, the Michael Miceli-trained and Keiber Coa-piloted Damage [No. 8, $29] won a hard-fought duel with the odds-on choice to take the one-turn mile New York-bred maiden claiming race and trigger the carryover.

Saturday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 6 at approximately 3:18 p.m. Eastern. First post for the 11-race card is 12:40 p.m.
