Guest Services

There are several Guest Services locations stationed throughout the track. The Guest Services office is located in the Administrative Building in the backyard, near Dunkin'.
Coolers are permitted at Saratoga Race Course. Coolers are allowed in the backyard, building and apron, and must be kept off tables, off seats and out of aisles.
Coolers may contain food and alcoholic beverages in plastic containers or cans; no glass permitted.
All coolers are subject to search by NYRA security at any time.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility via the NYRA-WIFI network.

Lost & Found is located in the Security office, at the far end of the Grandstand on the mezzanine level.
There are First Aid facilities located on the ground floor of the Grandstand beside the Fourstardave Sports Bar, and in the backyard near Gate B.
In the event of an emergency, notify a NYRA Peace Officer or other NYRA employee.

Key dates for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival, July 4th Racing Festival, and the 40-day summer meet in Saratoga Springs are as follows:
New York's biggest week of racing is back at the Spa! The 2025 Belmont Stakes is the 157th renewal of the final leg of the Triple Crown, and will be run in June at Saratoga Race Course. Expect thrilling racing, one-of-a-kind events, and a giant party all week long!
The Belmont Stakes Racing Festival runs from June 4-8, 2025; The Belmont Stakes is on Saturday, June 7.
Please note that Saratoga Season Tickets & Passes are not valid for the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.
The July 4th Racing Festival is a bonus week of racing added to Saratoga's schedule this year! Celebrate Independence Day in Saratoga Springs with four exciting race days ahead of the summer meet kickoff.
The July 4th Racing Festival runs from July 3-6, 2025.
Please note that Saratoga Season Tickets & Passes are not valid for the July 4th Racing Festival.
The 2025 Saratoga summer meet will open on Thursday, July 10. The summer meet features 40 days of racing, concluding on Labor Day weekend. By purchasing your 2025 Saratoga Season Pass, you'll get admission to all 40 days of the summer season, including Opening Weekend, Whitney Day, and Travers Day!
The Jim Dandy is a crucial prep race, but also a party in its own right! Fans get a thrilling preview of horses to watch a few weeks later in the Travers. In 2024, Fierceness successfully completed the Jim Dandy-Travers double.
Jim Dandy Day will be announced at a later date.
Whitney Day is a staple of summer racing at Saratoga! The $1 million Whitney attracts top older horses and has been won by many of thoroughbred racing's biggest stars.
Each year, Saratoga is bathed in pink in honor of Marylou Whitney, one of racing's finest ambassadors. Don your best outfit and join the Best in Pink fashion photo contest!
Whitney Day is on the first Saturday in August annually. In 2025, Whitney Day falls on August 2nd.
Travers Day is the centerpiece of the summer season! The Travers is Saratoga's most famous race, and attracts many of the same elite horses that contested the Triple Crown.
Join the most passionate fans in racing on Travers Day. Saratoga goes all out, with extravagant outfits & hats on display. Book tickets well in advance, or bring a tablecloth and line up early to claim a coveted picnic table!
The Travers is run on the fourth Saturday in August annually. In 2025, Travers Day falls on August 23rd.
The 2025 Saratoga summer meet runs through Labor Day weekend. The meet ends with Saratoga's 40th day of summer racing on Labor Day, which this year falls on Monday, September 1.

Things To Do at Saratoga in 2025
Breakfast at Saratoga welcomes guests to enjoy a morning buffet on the Clubhouse Porch while thoroughbreds train on the main track!
Breakfast is held every live racing day from 7:00 to 9:30am, excluding Travers Day and Labor Day. Breakfast is available on a first-come, first-served basis; reservations are not accepted.

Family Sundays feature free family-friendly games and educational activities from 11:00am-4:00pm in the Family Zone, a smoke and alcohol-free interactive play area for children. Visit each Sunday for a different theme!
Every Friday through Sunday of the Saratoga meet, fans of all ages can meet and pet a retired thoroughbred at Berkshire Bank Horse Sense.

More To Do at the Racetrack
Live teller windows and self-service terminals are located throughout the racetrack. Self-service touch screen terminals are easy for even a novice bettor to use. Insert your voucher, winning mutuel ticket, or swipe your NYRA Cash Card or NYRA Bets Account Card to enjoy the convenience and privacy of do-it-yourself wagering at the track. Always double check your tickets before leaving the window or self-service terminal.
The Purdy's Summer Music Stage features live music performed by local acts across all 40 days of the summer meet!

The Community Booth at Saratoga Race Course is a unique opportunity for local charities to showcase their mission and engage with thousands of racing fans on a select day during the summer meet. Since its inception, hundreds of organizations have successfully utilized the booth to raise awareness and accept donations.
The Community Booth is located in the backyard next to the Jockey Silks Porch. Be sure to stop by!
No visit to Saratoga Race Course is complete without sipping the track's very own natural spring water!
Located in the backyard behind the paddock, the Big Red Spring is named in honor of two legendary horses who bore the nickname "Big Red" – Man o' War and Secretariat.
Complimentary cups are available from the nearby Guest Services booth.
