  BACKYARD AREA
 
 
   
The Backyard is an ideal spot for families to spend the day. The kids can use the playground and enjoy the duck pond, while mom and dad can watch and wager upon the races with numerous television and betting windows. There are many picnic tables as well as plenty of food and drink available at concession stands.
   
  CHILDREN'S PLAYGROUND
 
 
   
The state-of-the-art Children's Playground is located in the Backyard area. Kids can swing, climb on monkey bars and play on slides in a safe area that features a rubber floor.
   
  COOLERS
  Fans may bring coolers into the backyard of the grandstand at Belmont Park. Coolers will not be allowed in any other area at the track. Glass containers are not allowed anywhere in the park. As in the past, fans can bring in coolers containing cans or plastic bottles.

All coolers will be subject to search by NYRA security.

No coolers of any kind will be permitted in the buildings, including all seating areas, or on the apron of the track.

Fans with coolers should enter the track at either the paddock or west end admission gates. Coolers will not be allowed through the clubhouse gate.

NOTE: On Belmont Stakes Day, Saturday, June 9, 2007, no alcoholic beverages of any kind will be permitted at Belmont Park. The restriction regarding alcohol has been enacted in the interest of patron safety and in an attempt to make sure that people drink responsibly.
   
   
  BREAKFAST AT BELMONT
 
 
   
Enjoy a leisurely trackside breakfast while watching the horses breeze through their morning workouts as Mary Ryan announces the action on the track. Then take a free 20-minute guided tram tour through the barn area (weather permitting). Participate in a Starting Gate demonstration. Finally a Paddock Show will teach you about a typical day in the life of a Thoroughbred. Offered weekends up through October 1st, from 7 to 9:30 a.m. Low-cost breakfast fare is available. Weekday accommodations are available for groups.

Belmont Park is cleared at the conclusion of the Breakfast at Belmont Program. Patrons who wish to attend the afternoon's races are charged admission upon re-entering when the gates open at 11 a.m.
   
  VIDEO ARCADE
  Located on the first floor of the Grandstand, the video arcade at Belmont Park offers top-of-the-line video games and pinball.
