  AQUEDUCT RACETRACK
 
 
   
Aqueduct opened on Sept. 27, 1894 in Queens. In 1941, a new clubhouse and track offices were built. The track was torn down in 1956 and the new "Big A" opened in 1959. In 1975 the inner track was constructed to facilitate winter racing.

2007 Aqueduct Fall Meeting: Wednesday, Oct. 24 to Sunday, Dec. 30 (45 days).
Dark Mondays and Tuesdays, and all dates from Dec. 17 to Dec. 25.
Post Times: 12:30 p.m. starting Sunday, November 4, except for 11:25 a.m. post on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, and 12:25 p.m. post on Friday, November 23 and Saturday, November 24.

2007 Aqueduct Winter / Spring Meeting: Monday, Jan. 1 to Sunday, April TBA
Dark Mondays and Tuesdays, except Monday, Jan. 1, Monday, Jan. 15 (Martin Luther King Jr. Day) and Monday, Feb. 19 (Presidents Day). Dark Wednesday, Jan. 3; Wednesday, Jan. 17; Wednesday, Feb. 21; Sunday, April 1 (Palm Sunday); and Sunday, April 8 (Easter).

  Binocular Rentals
Located on the first floor of the Clubhouse adjacent to the escalator.

Personal Handicapping Stations
Located on the first and second floor Clubhouse, the Personal Handicapping Stations offer serious handicappers their privacy with personal desktops and televisions. Cost is $3 a day. Tickets may be purchased at the Customer Service Booth located on the first floor Clubhouse.

Race Replay Centers
Located on the first floor in the Clubhouse.

ATM Machines
Located on the first and second floor of the Clubhouse.

Coat Checks
Located on the second floor of the Clubhouse in the Man o' War Room and on the third floor of the Clubhouse in the Skyline Club.

First Aid
Located on the ground floor.

Lost and Found
Located in the Security Office at the north end of ground floor of the Grandstand.
   
   
  AQUEDUCT BROADCASTING
  Thoroughbred Action, the half-hour race-replay show, or Inside Racing, the weekly half-hour magazine show, are broadcast daily on Fox Sports New York.

Thoroughbred Action replays races and shows results and payoffs for each New York raceday.

Inside Racing includes timely features and races of the week; it is broadcast on nonracedays during the month.

  CASHING MUTUEL TICKETS BY MAIL
  Winning pari-mutuel tickets from all races conducted in 2007 at Aqueduct Racetrack, Belmont Park and Saratoga Race Course must be cashed on or before March 31, 2008. They can be cashed during any race day at Belmont Park through October 21, 2007 or at Aqueduct from October 24, 2007 through March 31, 2008. You cannot cash winning NYRA mutuel tickets at any other racetrack or OTB.

Winning NYRA mutuel tickets may also be sent by certified or registered mail to the following address and must be received no later than March 31, 2008:

For winnings that exceed 300-1 odds - more than $600 - the Internal Revenue Service requires that a W2-G Tax Form is completed. This form requires two proofs of identity: 1, Copy of Drivers License; and 2, Copy of Social Security Card or a card that establishes your identity and includes your social security number. All winnings subject to reporting and/or withholding as described in IRS form W2G will be administered in accordance with applicable IRS code.
